I cannot help but feel a little crushed.

The Coil Of Sihn has been offering free versions of the albums since inception, online or physical.

So, Radiohead and NIN will go down in history as the pioneers. And the rest of us independent artists will never reap the rewards because, we don't have big PR firms, we don't have a lot of money, we don't have the eyes of the media on our lily white asses.

But, independent artists like us made it possible for Radiohead and NIN to do this. We slogged it out in the trenches and posted our links on every blog we could find. We joined organizations like CD Baby to get digital distribution for a pittance of remittance. We mailed out thousands of our albums, that we handmade in our basements on crappy printers and cd burners. But, will we get any credit. No.

NIN may be giving the middle finger to the music industry but, NIN is a corporation, just like Coke or Pepsi, by itself.

As Trent's finger extends, his ass shits on the little guy.

How about letting all of us on your Nothing, bitch.

Meanwhile, we will keep slogging through this hell because, we do this to edify and Love those that we were destined to touch. Our performance stages are close enough to the ground that we can actually touch those who need the healing, the camraderie, the comiseration or the fun. I will never stop doing what I am doing. I can't.
